Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown – New York Start
Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Upstate New York Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift,
6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts in a 64-bed unit Highlights:
Specialized care for stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis,
COPD, CHF, and general medical-surgical patients Work with
specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
Adult patient population in a progressive stepdown environment EMR
experience with EPIC preferred Opportunity for local and travel
nurses; floating to other units as needed Requirements: Active New
York RN license (verification required via NURSYS) Minimum 2 years
of Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown experience Current AHA BLS and
NIHSS certification EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred Travel
nursing experience documented on resume Valid driver's license Why
