Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Level I for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location: Utica, NY 13502 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: - Evening/Night shift - 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM Key Responsibilities: - Provide emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics - Assess, triage, monitor, and manage high-acuity emergency patients - Deliver care for common ED diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure - Operate and manage specialty emergency equipment such as rapid infusors and temperature management systems - Float within scope of practice to meet departmental needs - Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience - Pediatric emergency experience required - Active New York State RN license - Ability to work evening/night shifts - Experience with EPIC EMR Current Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - NIHSS - TNCC Preferred Qualifications: - Charge nurse experience or charge capability - Prior travel nursing experience - Experience caring for high-acuity, high-volume emergency departments Distance Requirement: - Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius (local rate applies) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
