clearly listed on resume. Job Summary The Insurance Manager is
responsible for overseeing the operations of the Insurance Agency
and ensuring the highest level of service to clients. This role
focuses on maximizing productivity, supporting the growth and
expansion of the agency, and managing the operations of all service
centers. Required Skills and Abilities • Active Property & Casualty
license required. • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance agency
principles and procedures, including AMS 360 and PL Rater. • Strong
understanding of insurance industry business practices. • Ability
to work independently and collaboratively, set priorities, delegate
tasks, and motivate staff. • Strong command of the English
language, including grammar, composition, and professional
communication. • Knowledge of customer service principles,
including needs assessment, service quality standards, and customer
satisfaction evaluation. • Understanding relevant laws,
regulations, legal codes, and government processes. • Knowledge of
human behavior, motivation, and performance, including training and
development methodologies. • Proficiency in curriculum design,
instructional methods, and training evaluation. • Strong
mathematical knowledge, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry,
calculus, and statistics. Education and Experience Requirements •
Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the
insurance field • Master’s Degree: Minimum of 1 year of proven
experience in the insurance field • No Degree: Minimum of 10 years
of proven experience in the insurance field Essential Duties and
Responsibilities • Ensure all staff are properly trained and
certified • Develop and implement new programs to support agency
growth and enhance the agency’s image. Compile and monitor sales
performance and provide reinforcement across service centers. •
Maintain sales data and report regularly on agency status,
adjusting as needed. • Lead and assist in the development of
insurance promotions. • Plan and implement training at all levels
to ensure high-quality service, optimal commission rates, and
minimal errors. Conduct training sessions including sales, product,
vendor, and ongoing operational training. • Maintain accurate
records and provide management with regular operational reports. •
Develop strategies to expand sales with existing accounts and
assist in soliciting new accounts. Perform duties of a senior agent
and stay informed on industry trends, communicating updates to
staff. • Meet with insurance carrier representatives regarding new
programs or services and communicate relevant changes to staff. •
Oversee computer contracts within the insurance department, prepare
for negotiations, implement system enhancements, and coordinate
necessary training. • Direct and manage staff to ensure efficient
