--- ECR International, Inc. is a subsidiary of Granby Industries LP, a Canadian manufacturer and supplier of heating products and storage tanks. ECR International manufactures and provides heating and cooling products under a family of brand names in North America with two facilities in upstate NY and distribution throughout the US and Canada. ECR serves the needs of its customer through quality products, modern innovation and reliable service.ECR is seeking a candidate for the position of Regional Sales Manager Western Region--- Basic Functions:The RSM will be seen as the corporate leader for ECR International in the territory and as such will need to develop a strong understanding of our corporate policies, brand strategies and the working of our customer service, accounting and technical support departments.The RSM will be required to assist in the administration of ECR policies with our customers including warranty resolution, promotions, product development, regional warehouse management, etc.Work with corporate marketing and sales develop promotional programs and support materials necessary to achieve sales and marketing goals for the territory at both the wholesale and contractor levels.--- Qualifications:Potential candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the sales and installation of HVAC product including both warm air heating, hydronic and steam heating and cooling. In addition, experience with natural gas, propane, oil and electric energy sources is needed.A strong management background is required, as well as excellent speaking, presentation and organizational skills. The candidate shall be highly motivated and self-driven. Computer skills should include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Bachelor's Degree preferred with concentration in Marketing and Sales, Management or Communications.--- Class:Exempt--- Personnel Supervised:Exempt: 0Non-Exempt: 0Hourly: 0Total: 0--- Job EnvironmentThe RSM will work from a home office to manage many facets of the sales of all ECR brands in the territory.The U.S Market will be divided based upon criteria including ECR Sales volumes, and geography to form seven sales territories. Territory breakdown are as follows:Region Description GeographyI. Appalachian Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Lower Peninsula of Michigan and KentuckyII. New England 6 New England StatesIII. Metro Hudson Valley, LI, Metro New York, Northern New JerseyIV. Mid Atlantic Southern New Jersey, MarylandVirginia, Delaware, and District of Columbia, North and South CarolinaV. North Central Illinois, Wisconsin, UP of Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota and NebraskaVI. Southern AL, AR, FL, GA, KS, LA, MO, MS, OK, TN, TX, AZ, NMVI. West CA,CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY, AKWith the diverse product offering of ECR International, the regional sales manager will be required to have a strong HVAC background including technical sales. Depending on the region assigned the candidate must possess strong skills in Hydronic Heating (I, II, IV, and V), warm air heating and air conditioning.--- Principal AccountabilitiesThe regional sales manager will work with a network of commission representatives throughout the territory on a brand specific basis. Each commission representative may carry only some of ECR Internationals brands.The ECR Regional Sales Manager will have sales and management responsibility for all ECR brands through our network of recognized distributors and manufacturer's representatives. Existing brand include:ARGO: Hydronic ControlsDunkirk: Cast Iron and High Efficiency BoilersEMI: Ductless Air ConditioningOlsen/Airco: Oil FurnacesPennco: Cast Iron BoilersUtica: Cast Iron and High Efficiency BoilersI. Management of the Sales of ECR International Brands in the region to include:--- Direct management of commission representatives through joint sales calls and territory business plans. Provide key input to Director of Sales regarding changes to the representative network required to achieve business goals.--- Develop pull through sales at the contractor/oil dealer level via direct sales calls, training and other support programs.--- Promote the sales growth of the ECR brands in accordance with each products "Brand Identity"--- Grow ECR business by increasing effectiveness of distribution network through training, promotions, and as needed addition of new distributors--- Maintain and enforce polices with the commission representatives to ensure consistent communications at all levels of ECR International.--- Build and maintain stronger relationships with our key customers--- Aggressively promote the ECR bundling conceptII. Product Family System Selling (Bundling)--- Expand the number of product family brands sold to each customer in the territory both at the contractor and distributor level. One of the most critical functions for the RSM is to leverage more ECR products into our existing and future customers. Bundling is the foundation for achieving our long-term sales goals.III. Develop Market Assessment and Business Forecasts--- Work with the Director of Sales develop and maintain on an ongoing basis a territory assessment of growth sales opportunities. Total Available Market Assessment (TAM) for all product lines. The TAM is the foundation for sales goals, resource allocation and sales analysis.--- Assist the Director of Sales in forecasting annually by model and sales in the territory.--- Use the TAM to develop and maintain Territory Business Plans and Sales Planner for the brands and representatives.--- CompensationCompensation plan for the regional sales managers will include a base salary plus a bonus tied to key performance requirements including:--- Sale Growth and Product Goals--- BenefitsECR International provides a competitive benefits package including vacation, 401K, health benefits and a car allowance. Travel expenses for ECR International will reimburse the RSM.--- Quality ResponsibilitiesAll employees shall know and understand: Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, the procedures and work instructions applicable to their job, and how their job affects the quality of company products and services.
