Job Description:

We are looking for a senior mechanic who is ready to hang up his tools and help lead and teach the next generation. Our on-the-floor problem solver is retiring in June, and we are looking for someone with a very close profile and skill set to him. Must be a leader, must have a lot of hydraulic, electrical and diesel engine knowledge, and a problem solver. Our crew of more seasoned mechanics will look toward you to figure out the tough problems, but you also need to teach the young guys the correct way to do it.



MUST BE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE FORMER HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC!!!



This is not a parts store, jiffy lube, Monroe Muffler type of job. MUST have a lot of working knowledge of all things diesel, hydraulic, and electrical.

Responsibilities:
--- Establish and implement the protocol for training, and machinery repair processes within the service department
--- Create positive morale among the service department team members and customers
--- Monitor the maintenance records, invoices, repair orders and more of the service department. We do have a service writer to assist with paperwork
--- Mentor the younger guys, teach them the right way, and make sure they are safe, productive and gaining knowledge every day
--- Assist the more senior guys with diagnosing the really tough jobs
--- See problems, solve problems

Qualifications:

--- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
--- Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent - a bachelor's degree is a plus
--- Must provide proof of valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
--- Must have a significant amount of knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
--- Attitude is everything! Must be positive and upbeat
--- Must be willing to take the Culture Index Survey
--- We are looking for a very senior mechanic that is highly skilled, but willing to put their tools down to get the next generation up to speed
