Job Description:
Position Summary: The Project Controls Analyst will play a key
role in assisting in the establishment and maintenance of project
budgets. This position will work cross functionally with finance
and operations teams to support the efficient delivery of programs
along with corporate and business unit goals. The Project Controls
Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing data and
recommending best practices to program managers to effectively
drive targeted margins. A successful candidate will prove to have a
solid business acumen and the ability to analyze financial data as
well as the ability to recommend decisions to management that
increase financial performance. -Job Duties and Responsibilities
include: -
- Manage project control responsibilities for fixed fee and
multiple element arraignment contracts
- Coordinate with Accounting and Finance for timely payment
schedules
- Review/reconcile project payment schedule to ensure accuracy
against contractual values and compliance to negotiate contract
terms.
- Support project staff with forecasting hours and production
throughout the life of a project
- Issue and monitor NTE values to subcontractors, report out on
any unusual activity
- Track and analyze production; aligning it with cost and bid
assumptions
- Report on project financial results to management
- Identify financial risks associated with programs and report to
management
- Support the contract billing department to ensure accurate and
timely contract billings
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to provide
relevant financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc
reporting, and analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Self-drivenRequired Education and Experience: -
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA or Master's preferred
- 2-4 years of work experience in a similar financial role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills - -
