My client is looking for a Director of Operations!

The Director will oversee all operational functions of a retail complex, including maintenance of the property and tenant coordination

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional who can lead maintenance, housekeeping, and security staff, as well as negotiate contracts for Cap Ex Projects, service projects, and tenant relocations

This individual will work alongside the General Manager in making decisions which will directly impact future company growth. This is an opportunity to work in a team-driven environment for a world class company alongside some of the best in the business!

Director of Operations:

• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the property property. Oversees and approves the development of a Preventative Maintenance Program for all assigned areas
• Supervises housekeeping and security services, reviews and assesses the day to day incident and accident reports, and conducts monthly safety meetings
• Develops, maintains, and ensures high quality merchant relations related to operational functions
• Develops open communication with local officials to help determine improvements and developments that would be mutually beneficial for the community and company
• Develop and maintain a maintenance and construction budgets for expansion, relocations, and other tenant coordination
• Negotiates and prepares contracts for tenant relocations, Cap Ex Projects, and service contracts
• Oversees the monitoring of utilities, including implementing energy conservation and cost-saving measures
  Requirements and Skills:
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building operations, property management, or maintenance in a supervisory role.
  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Building Administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, waste water management
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
  • Budget preparation, cost control, and energy management
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in staff management and merchant customer relations
