We are currently seeking a full-time Workforce Navigator in our Center for Corporate and Community Education department. The Workforce Navigator is responsible for meeting community workforce development needs by working with individuals to onboard them into training opportunities, connect trainees with jobs, and maintain relationships with completers to facilitate subsequent upskillingKey responsibilities for this position include:Works closely with community constituencies and representatives of business, industry and non-profit organizations to identify and prioritize educational and training needs;Serves as a liaison with the tri-county Working Solutions Offices;Recruits and onboards qualified individuals into training opportunities;Tracks course progress and supports success from program start to finish;Maintains and monitors various funding streams that are available to students;Works closely with both non-credit and credit departments, faculty and staff to facilitate cooperation, participation, and effective communication in the interest of meeting common goals and objectives;Collaborates on projects pertaining to workforce development and community growth;Assesses various aspects of workforce development programs and makes adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. Identify and respond productively to emerging opportunities;Tracks statistics, maintains databases and generates relevant reports;Works with students on an individual basis to develop goals and assist them in meeting identified goals;Works collaboratively with employers to determine available positions. Works with students to obtain employment upon completion of training;Performs other duties related to this job description as assigned by the Director.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or 60 credit hours completed
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid drivers license at the time of hire and for the duration of the appointmentPreferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
