Job Opportunity Overview:

Seeking a dynamic engineer motivated by direct customer and application experiences. The product engineer will provide product and applications support to the world’s leading advanced manufacturers in semiconductor, display, vacuum coating, precision optics, pharma, and automotive markets. A strong communicator, the product engineer interfaces constantly with customers and all internal functional groups. Collaborates closely with research teams to test new idea/concept feasibility. Works closely with product managers to identify, prioritize, and communicate customer needs. Supports new product development in the role of team member, product owner, or scrum master. Supports process development and optimization with operations engineering teams. Creates product and regional service concepts together with service engineering. Drives continuous improvement of product marketing collateral and media and provides expert technical support to sales, field application engineers, and end users. Tests new products and software, manages lab space, and travels to perform sensor and software installations or customer training.

  • 3 year(s): Detail oriented with proven track record of performing and validating product and process verification and validation
  • 3 year(s): Demonstrated ability to drive systemic problem solving especially with respect to product and processes
  • 5 year(s): Customer facing experience providing technical or applications support for instruments or sensors


  • Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
