Penski Staffing a CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Porter/ Cleaner in Syracuse, NY.Summary:Responsible for cleaning and preparing unit turns, maintenance and cleaning of all buildings, floors, grounds and common areas including all hallways, elevators, compactor rooms, refuse areas, hoppers, etc. PART TIME $11.80 p/h; Hours VaryRESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance/Customer Service--- Ensure all make-ready preparations are completed correctly and on schedule.--- Cleaning of common areas and vacant units.--- Trashing out vacant units inclusive of furniture removal; transfer of furniture to storage when required.--- Removal and hauling of bulk trash inclusive of maintaining cleanliness of dumpster areas.--- Detail pickup of all loose trash on perimeter of buildings, outside, parking area, stairs and lot.--- Maintain compactor rooms, hopper doors --- Clean and maintain elevator doors and walls whenever necessary--- Empty and maintain trash chutes and trash chutes areas where applicable.--- Clean, sweep, mop common area and hallway floors through floor 14--- Strip and wax floors when needed--- Buff all floors and clean, maintain and buff stairwells--- Maintain awareness of the physical condition of the property and immediately correct unsafe conditions.--- Assist maintenance with special projects as needed.--- Maintain the curb appeal of the community by; picking up the grounds, removing debris, working on common area needs Qualifications:--- Previous experience in property preservation, janitorial or porter work, and grounds maintenance. --- Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with the residents and community staff.--- Ability to complete tasks on a timely basis.--- Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.--- Basic written and verbal communication skills to complete tasks and work orders.CorTech Cares: ---Pay Options: Direct Deposit, Paper Checks or pay cards; paid weekly ---Health/Dental/Vision Insurance options compliant with the ACA ---401k ---Online Employee Portal to adjust withholdings and view and print pay stubs We look forward to working with you!!CorTech Cares!
