This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Type: Full timeShift(s) Available: 3rd shift (8:30 pm - 6 30 am Sun- Wed)Compensation: $26.93/hrSign-on bonus: $1,500Principal Accountabilities:Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of PPE, area inspections, hazard recognition, and pre-operational equipment inspections.Address or report hazards found, report deficiencies found with equipment, input work requests into SAPPerform tasks in the mining cycle, to facilitate the safe and efficient mining of salt. Perform any task assigned by Production SupervisorRequired Qualifications:Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityMust be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)High school degree or GED EquivalentMust be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
