We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Driver CDL Class A for regional solo routes. This role will involve managing the transportation of goods in a timely and safe manner across various regions, utilizing our robust fleet of well-maintained vehicles. The ideal candidate will help Ryder continue to lead in customer satisfaction by maintaining punctual delivery schedules and upholding the highest standards of safety on the road. Operate Ryder vehicles, primarily Class A trucks, following all operational and safety procedures. Ensure timely delivery of freight over regional routes, adhering to all federal and state regulations. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators to update on delivery statuses and manage schedules. Represent Ryder professionally to maintain and enhance customer relationships. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Excellent navigation ability and knowledge of regional transport regulations. Good physical endurance for handling cargo. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to solve problems independently and handle stressful driving situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A. A clean driving record. Current DOT medical certification. Additional certifications in transportation safety are highly preferred.
