JOB TITLE: Senior, Product Strategist for our Digital Solutions JOB LOCATION: Syracuse, NY - onsite 1 day a week WAGE RANGE*: $55-60/hr. JOB NUMBER: NGGJP00016211 In office 1 day a week local candidates only Syracuse with some travel to other sites also required on an as needed basis REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering or relevant field 3-5 years relevant business experience Experience working on digital product teams highly preferred Experience designing and refining value case (e.g., financial value to the business, strategic value, etc.) Experience in defining, testing, and refining product assumptions Experience in Agile product or project management At least 1-2 years working with (or within) utility Financial modeling and value case development experience Job Description: Our Client is hiring a Senior, Product Strategist for our Digital Solutions team in New York (Syracuse, NY). The successful applicant for this position will be an integral contributor towards this goal and we will support Job Purpose The Product Strategist is responsible for supporting the business and operations work stream within a multi-disciplinary digital product team structure. They partner closely to execute several activities, such as identifying risky assumptions, building the value case, defining the future-state process vision, executing change management plans, etc. Key AccountabilitiesSupport business capability assessment, design, alignment and roadmapping for product line with cross-functional teams Construct business case, including value projections and detailed investment estimate; ensure these are aligned with product definition Track objectives and key results to assess benefit realization of products Proactively identify riskiest assumptions and support product team in designing and executing experiments to increase confidence in business case assumptions Support business/operation work stream team, participating in Agile sprints during full product roadmap Define future-state operations solution (process, org change), including detailed current state-process and future-state process documentation Support change mgmt. and product roll-out plan, with help from the change mgmt. team as needed Implement marketing, sales, business development, user acquisition, and user support strategies Provide support to product & technical workstreams (e.g., RFP support, stakeholder mgmt., value alignment, IT governance, IT PMO) Support preparation of materials for key stakeholder readouts (e.g., Digital Board meetings) and regulatory engagements.
