Job Description BAE Systems in Rome, NY is seeking a motivated
Systems Administrator to join a cross-functional
team.Responsibilities include:
Install and support a secure
environment made up of Windows and Linux systems, Cisco networking
and security technologies and various web/data application
servicesResponsible for daily system monitoring, security, server
health, resources and log management of Linux and Windows
systemsTroubleshooting and performing root cause analysis. This
includes troubleshooting any and all issues with system
configurations, backups, files systems, and user accessPerform
maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates
and system configuration changesApply compliance controls to secure
systemsInterface with stakeholders and provide technical
guidanceRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
or related field5 years of experience in requirements analysis,
systems engineering, operations and maintenance, network systems
administration and/or configuration managementExperience writing
scripts (Linux, Shell, PowerShell), patching, updating systems and
responding to requirementsNetwork and application security (e.g.,
encryption, SSL, auditing, etc.) experienceDOD 8570 Information
Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required (such as
CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND,
SSCP)Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Possess excellent oral and written
communication skills and effectively communicate details with all
levels of managementActive Secret clearanceFamiliarity with
cross-domain technologies and requirementsBasic knowledge of Agile
developmentPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $68700 -
$116800Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
