Software Engineer, SeniorThe Opportunity:As an embedded software
engineer, you know how to create and maintain crucial pieces of
software. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that
creates a bridge between pieces of software, allowing them to
communicate. We're looking for an experienced embedded software
engineer like you to develop technology for our clients' most
important mission-forward challenges.As a senior embedded software
engineer at Booz Allen, you'll support the development of systems,
sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and
technology, you'll write, test, and edit code in support of the
team's overall results. You'll expand your skills as you develop
and reverse engineer software that supports hardware functionality
on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on
the platform being used. You'll work with other team leaders to
troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with
cybersecurity specialists to ensure that the software you're

Have:8+ years of experience with software engineeringExperience
with agile practices and tools, including Git and ticketing
systemsExperience with the Linux Operating System, including SSH,
SCP, .rpms/ .debs, or FUSEKnowledge of complex software
integrations including multi-process and multi-systemKnowledge of
complex computer networking including iptables, VLANs, and
ICMPKnowledge of database technologies including SQL/noSQLAbility
to write, compile, and debug low-level LLVM compliant languages,
such as C and C++Ability to write and debug Python and BASH
ScriptsTS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience
with Federal government, including DoD and IC, Cyber
OperationsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication
skillsMaster's degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual's particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to
$193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting
