Assistant Professor of Computer ScienceUtica College, a small comprehensive college in Upstate New York, is seeking applications for a tenure-track, faculty position in the Computer Science Department to start August 1, 2021. All areas of research specializations will be considered. Candidates will show excellent pedagogical skills to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates should be able to teach courses complementary to other faculty, design new courses as needed, conduct research, and serve on department and college committees. Teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester (actual number of courses depend on the number of credit hours assigned to each course). Inclusion of undergraduate students in a research program is important. A Ph.D. in computer science or computer information systems is required. ABDs will be considered if there is clear evidence that completion of the doctorate is imminent.
