Job Description:

Lead Human Resources Business PartnerThe Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) leads and manages the people strategy as a key member of both the Utica Manufacturing Operations team and the Human Resources teams. The talent strategy will include:

  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition to ensure a robust, diverse, talent pipeline
  • Succession planning for key leadership roles
  • Developing emerging leaders and talent in the organization
  • Driving the key principles of Engagement
  • Partnering with HR Shared Services to drive engaging benefits, processes and systems for employees and managers
  • Participate in the recruitment, engagement and development of HR talent across the organization
    The HRBP is the "keeper of the culture," provides an independent perspective, and plays a pivotal role in messaging and communication. This role shares accountability of talent and business goals for the Utica Operations business unit and the company.
    Responsibilities/Duties:
    • Acts as a strategic business partner to the business leader. The position will design, build and execute strategic talent objectives that drive exceptional business performance.
    • Provide support on the research, design and development of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy, using expert knowledge of production in Utica.
    • Foster a talent-based culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of outcomes through behaviors.
    • Identify and develop key learning programs that will drive best demonstrated practice in performance management process.
    • Partners to develop and drive aggressive talent acquisition programs, supports the onboarding process.
    • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management.
    • Challenges the organizational structure of Utica Operations and proposes changes as appropriate.
    • Substantively contributes to the development of the wider HR strategy and work closely with Human Resource Leadership to ensure cohesive and coordinated functional, global roadmap.

      • Previous experience in HR Management, HRBP role, or as a Performance Coach

      • Fluency in financial and HR systems as well as an attention to detail and a passion for making the complex simple are key attributes.
      • Knowledgeable about how the business and organization work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition; is aware of how tactics work in the marketplace.
      • Understands how to accomplish tasks both through formal channels and the informal network; understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies; practices and procedures; understand the cultures of the organization.
        Education Requirements:
        • BA/BS in related fieldExperience Requirements:
          • 5 to 10 years Human Resource & Talent development and management experience.This position is not eligible for employer based visa sponsorship.
