Job Description The Impact You Can Make Team Impact The ultrasound technologist will work directly with radiologists/cardiologists to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures that require judgment and ingenuity while responding to any of the patient's special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities Performs quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols. Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures. Maintains appropriate documentation of patient records Presents appropriate filming and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist. Education/Accredited Programs Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program Licenses/Certifications/Registrations ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry eligible in an Ultrasound discipline (i.e.OB/GYN, ABD, Breast or Cardiac Echo). Eligible candidates must obtain certification within two years of hire date. CPR Certified Skills/Abilities Ability to effectively communicate with patients, students, staff, and physicians. Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of people. Ability to coach and teach at the adult level. Ability to promote and work in a team setting. Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $37.07 - $55.61per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
