Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated Clinical Nurse III for our D2N Cardiopulmonary Surgery & Vascular ICU. Nurses in this critical role apply their advanced skills to care for patients recovering from complex cardiopulmonary and vascular surgeries, contributing to our mission of exceptional medical education and patient care. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiopulmonary and Vascular ICU. Monitor patient health and post-surgical recovery, adjusting care plans based on patient responses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in research and evidence-based practice projects. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care requirements. Strong clinical skills in cardiopulmonary and vascular care. Proficient in using medical software for patient records. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of New York. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred. ACLS and BLS Certification.
