The physician will handle general anatomic pathology responsibilities, including surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen section analysis in a collaborative clinical environment. The role involves grossing specimens, performing frozen sections using a cryostat, and interpreting pathology results while working alongside an experienced team of pathologists and laboratory professionals. The practice handles a high-volume caseload of surgical and cytology specimens annually and utilizes EPIC/Beaker EMR systems for documentation and workflow management. Shift Timings: Standard day schedule No call requirements Assignment duration: 3–6 months with potential for permanent placement Requirements Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology (AP) Active New York State Medical License Experience in Surgical Pathology and Cytology Ability to perform frozen section analysis and specimen grossing Recent NPDB self-query report required Benefits Competitive compensation ??
