(New York healthcare job) - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020 per
week - Assignment Length: 8 weeks (with potential extension) -
Start Date: January 6, 2025 - Schedule: Day-Evening shifts; three
12-hour or four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday) - Hours per
Week: 36–40 - On-Call: Every third Saturday, 7am–3pm - Setting:
Dialysis Unit (clinical support) - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Dialysis Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in New York State or compact state - Minimum 1 year of
recent dialysis nursing experience required - Hemodialysis
experience required; peritoneal dialysis experience preferred -
Experience with Epic EMR preferred - BLS certification (American
Heart Association) - Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dialysis RN Responsibilities - Deliver safe, effective care to
hemodialysis patients (max 1:2 ratio; 1:1 for ICU patients) -
Conduct patient assessments, initiate and monitor dialysis
treatments, and document care in Epic EMR - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal
patient outcomes - Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled -
Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and ongoing
