Watertown, New York, 13601! Registered Nurse MS/Tele FLOAT - 13
weeks Pay Information $2,400 to $2,450 per week Shift Details
Nights - 3 x 12 hours About the Position Continuous Cardiac
Monitoring: Must proficiently monitor, interpret, and promptly
report changes in EKG/ECG readings and rhythms. Comprehensive
Patient Assessments: Perform thorough and frequent physical and
psychosocial assessments to detect subtle changes in patient
condition. IV Drip Management: Safely administer and manage complex
intravenous medications and drips, including Heparin, Potassium,
and Magnesium riders . Critical Thinking & Prioritization:
Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to prioritize care for
a diverse patient load in a high-acuity environment. Disease
Management: Care for common medical and surgical diagnoses, such as
CHF, COPD exacerbations, Sepsis, and various post-operative cases.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively with physicians,
specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate and execute holistic
care plans. EHR Proficiency: Maintain accurate, timely, and
complete documentation using the electronic health record (EHR)
system (e.g., Meditech). Leadership & Delegation: Utilize
leadership skills to delegate tasks and oversee care provided by
LPNs or unlicensed assistive personnel. Patient Education: Provide
thorough and clear patient and family education regarding disease
processes, medication regimens, and discharge instructions. 5
