ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Block scheduling available but never promised or guaranteed • Floating required between units • Navy blue scrubs required • 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required • Travel experience required • Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • EPIC EMR experience required • Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification • Care for patients ages 18 years and older • Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds • Manage common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients • Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems • Handle chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance • Skills checklist matching specialty required • RTO must be included at time of submission Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive intermediate care unit providing specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions.
