Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Provide hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions with clinical purpose Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with state and facility guidelines while delivering high-quality care Qualifications Active New York Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain one prior to assignment Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent) Current CPR/BLS certification Previous outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Education DPT or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy program Knowledge & Skills Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment planning Orthopedic and musculoskeletal care Manual therapy techniques Therapeutic exercise prescription Patient education and home exercise program design Clinical documentation and progress tracking Interdisciplinary collaboration and professional communication Benefits Licensure assistance and support to obtain or transfer your New York PT license A collaborative, interdisciplinary team that values your clinical input Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education support Meaningful short-term assignment that expands your outpatient orthopedic experience Support with documentation and compliance to help you focus on patient care A welcoming clinic culture in a scenic community — great for recharging between shifts Recognition for strong performance and opportunities to network with regional clinicians Apply Now Ready to start your next adventure as a Physical Therapist - Outpatient?
