Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Cooperstown, NY Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 15 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Bassett Medical Center - Physician Services-AP-Physician-0027 State NY Location 1 Atwell Rd Cooperstown New York 13326 Requirements Bassett MC in Cooperstown NY Cardiac Anesthesiologist The ideal candidate will cover cardiac and general cases during the day, with cardiac beeper call at night (2-3 per day). Start Date: 3/13/26 start Monday 3/9/26 for orientation End Date: 6/5/26 Dates of Coverage Needed: 4/5, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/17 & 5/31 American Board of Anesthesiology eligible/certified and at least completed cardiac fellowship Does the position require Cardiac Fellowship or Echo Certification? Cardiac Fellowship yes/National Board of Echocardiography certified or testamer status in perioperative transthoracic echo What are the daytime hours?: Daytime hours are 8 hours (flexible if longer shifts desired) Is weekend call in house or pager?: Weekend call is mostly home call/pager. Occasional general OR in house 8 hour shift on Sunday (7a-3p). How many cases per day are expected? ~4-6 cases per day if cardiac case, 6-8 if covering general ORs EMR equipment: EPIC Credentialing timeline to specifics: Urgent need. Will need application completed and returned ASAP Additional Information: 24/7 coverage for low volume cardiac anesthesia program Infrequent after hours call ins After hours coverage is only for cardiac cases No general OR coverage Coverage for general and cardiac cases during prime time hours in the anesthesia care team model.
