to find a qualified Stepdown RN in Elmira, New York, 14905!
Registered Nurse - Step Down Overview Join our dynamic healthcare
team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care. In this
vital role, you will provide high-quality, specialized nursing care
to patients transitioning from intensive care to less critical
settings. Your expertise will help ensure smooth recoveries and
optimal patient outcomes in a 24-bed telemetry unit equipped for
both telemetry and step-down patients. This position offers an
excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative,
patient-centered environment within a reputable healthcare
facility. Pay Package: $2,568 Weekly Pay Schedule: 7pm - 7:30am
Required Skills Active and current AHA BLS certification Minimum of
2 years of nursing experience, preferably in step-down or telemetry
units Proficiency in medication administration, patient
assessments, and care planning Strong communication and teamwork
skills Ability to perform pushing, pulling, lifting tasks safely
Experience with ACLS certification is preferred Nice to Have Skills
Previous experience working in large rooms with private bathrooms
and showers Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems Preferred
Education and Experience Nursing degree from an accredited program
(ADN or BSN preferred) Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down
setting with a patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts and 7:1
during night shifts Other Requirements Must demonstrate flexibility
to work different shifts, including nights Capable of handling the
physical demands of patient care in a fast-paced environment Why
