Job Description Job Description RN Emergency Room (ER) Location: Albany, NY Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Pay: $2,498.40/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity emergency department setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage diverse emergency cases. Epic charting experience is required. A competency exam must be completed shortly after submission. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment. Key Responsibilities Provide rapid assessment and emergency care to patients of varying acuity Perform triage and prioritize patient care needs Administer emergency medications and treatments Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and medical emergencies Initiate IV access and manage critical drips Collaborate with interdisciplinary emergency care teams Follow emergency department safety and infection control protocols Document all patient care in Epic EMR Comply with unit dress code requirements Qualifications Active RN license required Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required Epic charting experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification required PALS certification preferred Must complete required competency test within 24 hours of submission Must meet local candidate eligibility rules Must comply with required scrub color policy Benefits Weekly pay with competitive rates Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Referral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our network Flexible schedules and dedicated recruiter support About ATC Healthcare ATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
