Job Description Job Description RN – Case Manager / Utilization Review / Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Location: Syracuse, NY Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Pay Rate: $56–$65/hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager to support case management, utilization review, and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) functions within an acute care hospital setting. This role works collaboratively with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure appropriate utilization of hospital resources, regulatory compliance, and accurate clinical documentation. This opportunity is well-suited for nurses with strong communication skills and recent acute care hospital experience. Key Responsibilities Perform case management, utilization review, and CDI activities in an acute care environment Review patient admissions, continued stays, and discharge plans to ensure medical necessity Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Ensure clinical documentation accurately supports level of care and regulatory requirements Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documentation and review processes Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Required Qualifications Active New York State RN license in good standing BLS certification (AHA) – must be current or able to be recertified Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital of similar size and complexity Acute care hospital case management experience required EPIC EMR experience required Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size, including trauma centers Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills For more details contact at pmohanty@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-806-4227 .
