Job Description Job Description Job Title: EEG Technician Location: Syracuse, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Schedule Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Shifts per Week: 5 Hours per Shift: 8 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Job Summary We are seeking a qualified EEG Technician to perform routine electroencephalogram (EEG) studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves working with patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, while adhering to established professional and safety guidelines. Qualifications Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) Minimum 1 year of EEG experience BLS/CPR certification Strong computer, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance Preferred: Experience in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) Key Responsibilities Perform routine EEG studies in accordance with ASET guidelines Apply and measure electrodes for adult and pediatric patients Collect, enter, and prepare raw EEG data for physician interpretation Analyze and describe EEG waveforms and observed patterns Edit and manage extended (24-hour) EEG recordings Provide appropriate patient and family interaction and education Maintain EEG equipment and acquisition stations Stock supplies and report equipment malfunctions Document equipment usage and issues in logbooks Follow all hospital and departmental policies and procedures For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
