Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights – 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) License Requirement: Active NY RN License in hand – No Exceptions Job Location: Rochester, NY Unit Overview – Acute Stroke Unit (7800) 39-bed combined Acute Stroke and Medical-Surgical unit Specializes in acute stroke and neurological disorders Cares for acute medical patients Practices adjustable acuity delivery model Focused on evidence-based stroke care across prevention and acute phases Patient Care Details Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 Must be comfortable managing full MedSurg assignment on nights Floating may be required within skillset Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience Active New York RN License (required at submission) BLS (required) ACLS (required) NIH Stroke Certification (required) EPIC charting experience (required) Required Clinical Skills Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response Dysrhythmia interpretation and management Rapid Response and Code Team activation IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Peripheral IV line care and management Respiratory Care Nasal cannula Oxygen face masks Portable oxygen tanks Non-invasive airway management Professional Practice Isolation precautions Infection prevention standards For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
