Job Description Job Description Job Title X-Ray Technologist Profession Radiology / Cardiology Specialty X-Ray Technology Assignment Details Contract Length: 8 Weeks Shift Type: Day Shift | 4 × 8-hour shifts Primary Schedule: Saturday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Location Rochester, New York Position Overview The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment, including operating room support and portable imaging. This role requires flexibility, technical proficiency, and strong collaboration with clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Staffing Ratios Days: 1:8 Nights: 1:6 Weekends: 1:2 Experience Requirements Minimum: 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience First-Time Travelers: Accepted Local Candidates: Not accepted (must reside more than 50 miles away) Pending License: Not accepted Required Certifications ARRT (R) BLS (AHA) Special Procedures & Unit Details Operating Room (OR) cases Bedside and portable imaging Trauma imaging support Equipment Experience (Preferred) Digital Radiography (DR) rooms GI fluoroscopy rooms C-Arms Portable X-ray units Clinical Skills & Competencies (Required) Patient Populations Adult acute care Adult outpatient Pediatric outpatient Imaging Procedures Chest, abdomen (KUB, upright, decubitus) Spine: cervical, thoracic, lumbar Pelvis and hips Upper extremities: shoulder, humerus, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, fingers Lower extremities: femur, knee, tibia-fibula, ankle, foot, toes Trauma imaging C-Arm procedures Skull and orbits Additional Skills PACS workflow Isolation precautions Operating room support Technology & Documentation EMR: EPIC (Required) For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
