Job Description Job Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ambulatory Care (Contract) Location: Syracuse, NY Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 5x8s (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Compensation Travel Rate: $50–$53/hour (based on experience) Local Rate: Approximately $1,425/week Job Description We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an ambulatory care / outpatient clinic setting in Syracuse, NY. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities and requires close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare them for examinations Obtain and document vital signs and patient progress Assist providers during exams and procedures, including injections and PAPs Set up procedure trays and maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and clinical areas Administer injections and medications within LPN scope of practice Support general office duties including scheduling, filing, and chart preparation Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain authorizations (PT, MRIs, CT scans, surgeries, etc.) Obtain referrals from primary care providers for new and established patients Document patient care and interactions using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Implement nursing care under RN direction and monitor/report patient responses Participate in daily unit operations and workflow coordination Requirements Active LPN license Prior experience in ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, or physician office settings preferred Additional Details No weekends No holidays No on-call requirements For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
