Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – New York Start Date: February 26, 2026 Location: New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend required, 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: Specialized 16-bed cardiac telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric populations Remote telemetry monitoring with focus on interpreting and documenting cardiac rhythms twice per shift EPIC electronic medical record system in use 8-hour non-billable orientation provided Professional environment with flexible scrub color policy Supportive 410-bed community hospital setting Requirements: Current New York State RN license (must be active at time of submission) ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association) EPIC EMR experience required Minimum 3 years of RN experience Strong background in cardiac/telemetry or medical-telemetry units Proficiency in interpreting, measuring, and documenting cardiac rhythms Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred Completion of Welle or CPI training for onboarding clearance New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record essential Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a patient-centered cardiac care environment where clinical expertise directly impacts outcomes.
