contract - Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) - Hours per
Week: 36 - Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required - EMR: Epic EMR
experience required - Weekend block schedule may be considered
Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in New York State - Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or adult
ICU nursing experience - ACLS certification required - Proficiency
in advanced hemodynamics, pressor titration, and medical/surgical
patient care - Experience with Epic electronic medical records
(EMR) - Ability to pass a nursing competency test within 48 hours
of submission - Excellent communication and teamwork skills PCU
Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to
patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries,
multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and
surgical complications - Manage advanced therapies:
antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips,
thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and
infection prevention protocols - Utilize HFNC, BiPap/CPAP, and
oxypendent devices for respiratory support - Maintain a patient
load of approximately 3 high-acuity patients - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient
outcomes - Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety
