Ultrasound Tech Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Niktor LLC Pay: $65 to $70 per hour Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview: We are seeking a professional and skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Ultrasound Technician to join our team for a 12–13-week contract assignment in either Watertown, NY or Utica, NY . The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a clinical or hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for accurate interpretation. Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process. Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and documentation. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Follow safety standards and infection control protocols. Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions. Requirements Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required. Minimum of 1 year of recent ultrasound/sonography experience preferred. Proficiency in general ultrasound; vascular or OB/GYN experience is a plus. Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to varying schedules and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
