ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Elizabethtown, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/15/2026 Duration: 4 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse Location Elizabethtown, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Schedule includes 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and holiday required. Job Description The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse will provide care to patients with chronic diseases, acute infections, and varying acuity levels. Candidates should be experienced in telehealth practices, performing vital procedures including IV therapy, EKGs, and respiratory treatments. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret telemetry readings. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide patient education and support. Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical/surgical setting. Telemetry certification required. Current NY nursing license required. BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary. NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start.
