Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Vascular Location: Syracuse, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum Nurse Practitioner – Vascular Surgery (Inpatient) Syracuse, NY | ? 3×12-Hour Shifts | ASAP Start We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in vascular and/or cardiac surgery for a full-time locum assignment in Syracuse, New York. This is a high-acuity, inpatient-only surgical role offering autonomy, first-assist opportunities, and strong physician collaboration. Position Highlights Specialty: Vascular Surgery Setting: 100% Inpatient (no clinic) Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts Call: 1–2 overnight emergency OR calls/week (from home) Start: ASAP Assignment Length: Minimum 3 months Credentialing: ~30 days Practice Details Adult & geriatric patient population Average service census: 15–20 patients Daily rounding: 3–5 patients EMR: Epic High level of APP autonomy with supervising vascular surgeon available Key Responsibilities Inpatient rounding and perioperative management First assist in vascular surgery procedures Pre-operative evaluations and post-op care Order and interpret labs and imaging Prescribing and treatment planning Suture and dialysis catheter removal Assist with intraoperative and emergency OR cases Why This Opportunity?
