Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of
recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Current
BLS certification Valid New York SLP license Certifications in
Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified
Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) COVID vaccine is NOT required Former
staff must be away from North Star Health Alliance for at least 6
months before being considered SLP Responsibilities in Hospital
Setting Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to
hospital patients Perform FEES and MBS evaluations as part of
patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to
develop and implement individualized treatment plans Float between
Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and Carthage Area Hospital as
scheduled Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital
