Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed • Floating to other units required • Must wear navy blue scrubs • 2 years of medical surgical experience required • Travel experience is required • Current AHA BLS certification required • Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification • EPIC EMR experience required • Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes • Provide post-surgical care for patients with conditions including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery) • Care for adult patient population • Skills checklist matching specialty required • Two recent medical surgical charge/manager RN references required Facility: This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on post-surgical care and complex medical conditions.
