Job Description & Responsibilities: - Join an established group of 5 ophthalmologists and 3 - Current need is for a general ophthalmologist who can provide comprehensive eye care - Current group has pediatric, retina and glaucoma specialists - Support staff consists of ophthalmic technicians, LPN’s,and RN’s and are well trained - On call is every 5th weekend, from Cooperstown, and rarely busy - Outreach clinics are attended by all ophthalmologists but are limited to only one location each - Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established. - Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards - Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.
