Job Opportunity – IMCU Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Utica, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 8-week assignment Highlights: 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds serving adult patients Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, DKA, sepsis, MI, and CV stepdown Experience with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilators EPIC EMR system in place Floating required to support hospital operations Navy blue scrubs Requirements: Active New York RN license with verification through NURSYS Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications EPIC EMR experience required Two recent IMCU Charge Nurse or Manager references Specialty-specific skills checklist required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This assignment offers the chance to work in a high-acuity intermediate care environment with exposure to a wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases.
