Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/22/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Cardiothoracic ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift/n/n Location/n Travel within a 75-mile radius or local candidates welcome at a reduced rate. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. /n/nJob Description/n The Cardiothoracic ICU Registered Nurse will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, managing complex diagnoses such as cardiovascular surgical procedures, cardiogenic shock, and abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). Experience with fresh hearts is required due to the critical nature of patient care in this unit. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Cardiothoracic ICU. /n - Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed. /n - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. /n - Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment plans. /n - Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient care management. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, specifically in Cardiothoracic ICU. /n - Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required. /n - Experience with EPIC electronic health record system. /n - Must have a valid nursing license. /n - Travel nursing experience is required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
