A health system is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility Location Upstate New York is filled with
beautiful sights to see, like Niagara Falls, Watkins Glenn State
Park, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum! About the
Clinician's Workday We are seeking an OBGYN physician (MD) to
provide full-time coverage starting as soon as possible for at
least six months, with flexibility to accept partial availability.
Board Certification is preferred. The role includes clinic 34 days
per week, hospital coverage, and call responsibilities. Call will
be 24-hour in-house, with a ratio of weekends and at least four
call shifts per month. The provider will handle low-risk, routine
labor and delivery, assist with C-sections, and perform GYN
surgeries, office and minor procedures, and circumcisions. OB
responsibilities include low- and high-risk obstetrics,
ultrasounds, and amniocentesis, with labor and delivery cases
ranging from routine to complicated, including VBACs and
C-sections. The clinic typically sees 2025 patients per day, with
variable hospital patient volumes. The facility averages
approximately 330 deliveries per year, with no high-risk deliveries
