HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a travel nursing job in Verona, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 15 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN- Ambulatory Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Required: Ambulatory Experience Preferred: Oncology Experience The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for monitoring patients throughout treatment and providing daily direct care, symptom and side effect management, and education to patients. Document in detail nursing interventions and outcomes regarding the patients symptoms before, during, and after radiation therapy. Any abnormal signs must be immediately reported to the physician. Prepare ahead for new patient, on-treatment, and follow-up appointments to include review of chart for updates; anticipate any test that each respective physician may require before seeing patient; ensure all pertinent test results, labs, reports and images are obtained for the physician prior to scheduled appointment. Interview new patients including medical, surgical, and family history related to diagnosis; provide patient written and verbal teaching and information about diagnosis, radiation therapy, side effects and other pertinent information. Facilitate and schedule all diagnostic testing ordered by the physician, monitor results and report to physician. Qualifications: Current New York State Registration. Certified in BLS and able to be recertified. Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital. Travelers will only be considered if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers. Experience with an EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
