Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Syracuse, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,160 per week for this role. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Prepares, administers (oral, subcutaneous, or IV), and accurately documents prescribed medications. /n /n - Reports any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with established policies. /n /n - Educates patients about surgical procedures and records their medical information and vital signs. /n /n - Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and documenting readings from electronic displays. /n /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. /n /n - Current RN license in the state of New York. /n /n - 2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - EPIC EHR experience is required. /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
