Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Syracuse, New York. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Med Surg ~ Discipline: RN ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel 50 mile radius from the facility Unit: Med/Surg: 4 South Oncology/GYN Unit Unit Details: 4 South is a 34-bed Medical Oncology/GYN Surgical unit with a 2 chair outpatient infusion room-we have a variety of medical and surgical patients which include a multitude of cancers as well as some complicated GYN surgeries along with med-surg overflow. Our patients can be very complicated and staff should be proficient in the management of central lines various drains dressing changes Tenhoff and pleur-X catheters. We also provide frequent transfusions of blood products.
