Nursing experience of six months to three years. - Management
experience of zero to three years. - Five plus years of direct
experience. License: - Current registered nurse license.
Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. -
Unit-specific requirements as necessary. Must-Have: - Collaboration
skills. - Verbal and written communication skills. - Judgement and
critical thinking abilities. - Organizational understanding. -
Planning and time management skills. - Problem-solving
capabilities. - Quality focus. - Reliability. - Safety and risk
management knowledge. Description: The Registered Nurse (RN)
protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN is
responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of human response. The
RN advocates for the care of individuals and families. The RN is
accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and
professional development. The RN promotes a caring and healing
environment for patient-centered care. The RN assesses, plans,
delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care. The
RN serves as a primary nurse and/or accountable nurse when
designated by unit assignment. The RN educates patients and
families in health promotion and disease management. The RN
utilizes a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers
medications. The RN shares responsibility for productivity and
resource utilization. The RN complies with all nursing practice
standards and regulatory requirements. The RN actively participates
in and supports the Nursing Shared Governance Model. The RN engages
in professional development and continuing education. The RN
integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice. The
RN provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and
students. The RN will perform other duties as assigned.
