Job Description:
About the Role: We seek a dedicated Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform independent medical
assessments for U.S. veterans, supporting the VA's disability
evaluations.
Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, conducting
thorough assessments, and completing VA-specific Disability
Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal.
You will evaluate up to four veterans daily, ensuring accurate and
timely submission within 24 hours of assessments.
Schedule involves 2 in-person days per week with additional
telehealth options.
The ideal candidate is a licensed MD or DO in PM&R, possibly
board-certified, with strong data analysis, time management, and
digital documentation skills.
Passion for serving veterans and making a positive impact is
essential.
