A health services network in Upstate New York is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing inpatient mental health facility in St. Lawrence County.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: 3 monthsShift: Days or NightsSchedule: 3 shifts per week and rotating weekendsHours: 7am to 7:30pm or 7pm to 7:30amSetting: Inpatient Mental HealthResponsibilities:Assessing the patients' physical needsChecking and transcribing the Physicians' ordersMedication administrationAdmitting, discharging, and transferring patients based on Physician ordersAssisting with procedures and physical examsConducting checks of treatment rooms for required equipment and ensuring its functionalityRecording appropriate progress notes and other data into the patients' medical recordCollecting vital signs, drawing blood, etc.Qualifications:1+ years of Clinical experienceActive NYS Registered Nurse licenseCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certificationDesired Qualifications:1+ year of experience providing care to patients in a Mental Health settingby Jobble
