Job title - Registered Nurse
Location - Rome, NY
Duration - 06 months

Duties include, but are not limited to:
--- Provide Injections for clinic clients and complete necessary documentation; make medication sheet for each client that gets injections
--- For clients on Clozaril:
o Track required monthly lab work on a spreadsheet
o Submit lab work into the REMS system
o If clients are overdue, reach out
o Fax lab work to pharmacies if requested
--- Ensure EKGs are done as required
--- Complete Metabolics on clinic clients and complete necessary documentation; make any referrals and linkages that are needed
--- Complete Health screens on clinic clients and complete necessary documentation
--- Maintain spreadsheets for injections/health screens
--- Triage calls
--- Review RHIO hospital notes and brief relative staff
--- Answer calls from the Medline and process requests/handle issues with Scripts, side effects, etc.
--- Coordinate/advocate care with medical PCP's and specialties
o Call doctor's offices and lab sites to get lab results, medical notes
o Call hospitals to get reports on the clients that have gone to the ER or are in-patient
--- Obtain Prior authorizations, and handle insurance issues regarding medications, (mostly injections)
--- Maintain AOT binder
--- Assist prescribers with various tasks as needed

Minimum qualifications: Possession of a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
